Update Report-Train Derailment near New Westminster, BC (Northwest Division - New Westminster Subdivision)

On Thursday February 5th, 2026, at 11:13 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near New Westminster, BC which has affected the main track. New Westminster, BC is approximately 10 miles Southeast of Vancouver, BC. BNSF field personnel are responding to assess the derailment site. The estimated opening of the main track is Saturday, February 7th, 2026 at 04:00 a.m. CDT.
